Basic Qualifications
• Drafting experience (1 year) including use of engineering drawing templates and creating
drawings for products and molds.
• Experience modeling and generating drawings using Solidworks, Creo or other similar
software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced small business environment using agile engineering
methodologies
• Solutions-focused and energetic attitude with a desire to deliver quality and excellence
Desired Skills
• Related technical college coursework completed equivalent to an associate degree
• Enrolled in a related technical degree-seeking college program
• Experience building small VTOL Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS) or RC aircraft
• Experience creating mechanical drawings and assembly documentation for a production
environment
• Ability and desire to assume ownership of tasks and drive to closure quickly and efficiently
• Microsoft Office (Excel, WORD, PowerPoint, Project) experience

Job Description
Job duties include creating mechanical design documentation using CAD tools. Candidate must
have experience manipulating existing CAD models in consultation with the engineering team.
The drafter will plan, lay out, draw, and revise part, assembly, and installation engineering
drawings. The drafter will collaborate as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team,
contributing design ideas to improve quality, function, and manufacturability. The drafter will
also be expected to participate in prototyping, building, and testing of mechanical designs.
