Spherion is recruiting for a Medical Administrate Manager for a local medical billing company in Lafayette.
This is a temp-to-hire position.
$17 per hour, negotiable and dependent on experience.
8:00am to 5:00pm M-F
Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Reports to Director of Operations.

Coordinates all posting, and reconciliation activities related to medical collections.
Back-up Import Coordinator.
All HR Duties including recruiting, onboarding, employee reviews, disciplinary actions,
and terminations.
Approves PTO requests for all departments.
Procurement Activities
Annual reviews for all employees.
Back up payroll coordinator.
Team building.
Meets with Director of Operations on a weekly basis to discuss pertinent issues.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience with medical billing, insurance follow-up, medical collections is preferred but not required.
Education:
High School
Experience:
7-10 years

Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Supervise multi-line phone system.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in office administration
or related field preferred.
8-10 years of direct employee supervision.
6-10 years of patient billing/payment and payment posting experience.
