Spherion NJ is currently looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist to work with our clinical team to help handle patient volume for consultations at a premier sleep diagnostic and treatment center located in both Neptune City and Middletown, NJ. Job tasks can not be done remotely from home.

Must be available to work in both offices on a rotating schedule (primarily Neptune office)
Must be available to work 8:00 AM to 4:00PM with flexibility to come in later if another shift needs coverage.
Reviews physician documentation and comfortable addressing any issues / concerns with physicians when applicable
Answer patient phone calls and questions about diagnosing and treating sleep disorders
Work well in a team to share job responsibilities while maintaining accountability for your own workload (correcting errors, taking initiative, recognizing when to ask for help and when to offer help)
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Willing to learn insurance requirements for sleep testing / treatment
Willing to learn CPAP usage, how to review data for CPAP machines, and contact DME companies to send orders and keep track of our patients being referred to them
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Customer service in regards to handling checking in new patients, discussing insurances, reviewing future appointments
Quick learning with computer applications (our software program is company-designed so no experience with it is expected)
