Welders will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal products according to written or oral specification and/or drawings. 1. MIG welding according to specification for various metal products - must be able to pass a welder qualification test to be hired2. Fabricate general orders using drawings, diagrams, or instructions3. Operate saws, iron worker, drill press, and all other pieces of equipment as needed for fabrication4. Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, adhesives, or other fasteners5. Assemble wooden pallets for shipping6. Operates Forklift7. Move material for storage, staging, or other purposes using handcart, forklift, manual handling, or other means8. Assists in grounds maintenance of facility. Operates building and grounds maintenance equipment as directed by supervisor.9. Keeps facility (shop, break room, restroom & yard area) in good, clutter free condition by putting tools, equipment, supplies & material back in proper space when finished with them. Performs other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by supervisor.10. Adheres to company policy and procedure11. Performs additional duties/tasks assigned by supervisor.

- Must pass the AWS D1.1 2022 welder qualification test for production welding - 2F and 3F, qualified by plate tests, within 30 days of employment- FL Driver's License Required- Mathematical - Ability to perform basic mathematical functions using addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and fractions.- Technical Skills - Ability to read and understand simple drawings used in fabricating product. Capable of safely and effectively using tools such as, wrenches, drills, chop saw, etc. Ability to read tape measure. - - Communication - Ability to write clearly & legibly. Ability to read and/or comprehend and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.- Physical - Ability to lift up to 120lbs. Ability to work under Florida's hot weather conditions, lifting frequently throughout the day.
