- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems ensuring maximum uptime.
- Document and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Conduct network modeling and analysis to construct a reliable, high-performance integrated network.
- Manage network access, use, capacity planning, resource utilization and more.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery functionality and business continuity planning which includes, but is not limited to, performing disaster recovery operations and data backups as required.
- Deploy system configurations as needed, such as mobile devices and platforms, Windows Server, desktops, Virtualization Systems and more.
- Program and maintain routers, firewalls, switches, and other network hardware while implementing security best practice.
- Manage public IPs and certificates
- Implement upgrades such as security configurations, hot fixes, patches and service packs.
- Collaborate with infrastructure team to optimize system performance
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
- Work with vendors to create and implement a scope of work as it pertains to any new or preexisting network solutions including equipment procurement.
- Manage domain names, configure DNS servers, configure and install load balancers and VPNs, and other associated tasks.
- Communicate any major changes to upper management as necessary.
- Perform any after-hours maintenance and migrations.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- Certifications from Palo Alto Networks with Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) preferred.
- Experience with other certifications including Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CompTIA Network+.
- Certifications from Aruba/HP for switch management and design preferred.
- Network security experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a Network Engineer preferred

- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers.
- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.

- Ability to review system logs to identify potential networking issues.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Deep understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Basic experience with scripting languages such as Python and Java.
- Basic experience with IP telephony systems.
- Intermediate experience with Solarwinds networking components.
- Intermediate experience with Hybrid cloud configurations involving AWS or Azure.
- Intermediate experience with backup/replication technologies.
- Intermediate experience with virtual networking technologies.
- Advanced experience with setup, configuring, and troubleshooting VPNs.
- Advanced experience with current firewall technologies.
- Advanced experience with networking protocols such as QoS, 802.11, BGP, IPSEC, OSPF and HRP.
- Advanced experience with TCP/IP or OSI, along with LAN, WAN, VoIP, WLAN, SD-WAN, and SAN networks.
- Maintain strict confidentiality with member data.
- College degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related subject or 5+ years related networking experience
