As an Office Manager/ Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant, you will have an opportunity to supervise and collaborate with experienced professionals at one of the state's largest injury-focused plaintiffs' firms.

Managing, supervising, and counseling 9 other Legal Assistants in the office
Reviewing case management system for the quality and timeliness of work done & meeting deadlines. Monitoring tasks and workflow
Managing the day-to-day operations of the office
Managing equipment, office supplies inventory, and office services
Assisting with drafting, implementing, maintaining, improving, and monitoring the execution of the firm's employment policies and procedures
Preparing and drafting legal documents including, but not limited to, complaints, motions, briefs, and correspondences
E-filing in NJ courts
Maintaining firm files
Answering office phones and communicating with clients
Communicating with insurance companies to gather documents
Maintaining calendars
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Experience using Adobe Acrobat and Trial Works a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working in a law firm as an Office Manager required
Experience working with petitioners'-side Workers' Compensation matters in NJ required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required
Experience e-filing in NJ courts
Must have a professional demeanor to work and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be computer savvy and have strong organizational and communication skills
Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
