-Direct the effective and efficient operations of the operations team including processes for receiving, inventory, repacking, storage, and distribution of food product to partner agencies and through direct program services.-Provide direct oversight to the management of all matters related to the maintenance and upkeep of the facility and grounds, including necessary modifications for purposes of safety, efficiency and/or proper function.-Ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with policies, procedures and regulations including food safety and sanitation standards-Ensure that all staff are aware of and comply with policies, procedures and regulations concerning workplace safety specific to warehouse and trucking logistical operations-Oversee the annual review and necessary updating of SOP's related to these operations-Maintain a current listing of all logistics and warehouse equipment including age and condition-Ensure all operations staff receive the necessary basic and advanced training needed to perform their duties safely and efficiently-Maintain an understanding, awareness of and ensures compliance with all relevant DOT regulations concerning CDL-licensed drivers, electronic logs, standard load weight restrictions and re-occurring license certification and DOT drug screening protocols-Provide oversight to operations, facilities, and fleet budget-Work with COO to build annual budget and makes suggestions on operations priorities-Build and maintain relationships with relevant transportation and manufacturing companies-Establish a robust distribution schedule-Meet service area compliance in assigned geography-Establish and manage transportation activities to include delivery schedules and routes, distributions, retail pickup program schedules, distribution center deliveries, etc.-Serve as an active member of the food safety committee-Hire, train, and on-board staff-Play an active role in budget development while managing regional financial expenditures within budgetary and policy guidelines-Other duties as assigned
