Spherion is seeking an individual for an Order Management position! This is a temporary, 6 month position. This will require answering customer calls for orders and ship dates as well as creating delivery notes once the order is complete. 1st shift: Mon-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM - $19.50
Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers via the phone, presenting a positive and professional image
Perform order reviews and update customer order acknowledgments via phone fax or website
Review with customer on all changes, available dates for delivery and order schedule change status??? on phoned in orders
Ensure customer requirements are documented on customer order using the MRP system
Match original orders with customer Purchase Order acknowledgment and verify accuracy
Establish personal contact with other employees and departments as required
Will recognize and comply with all safety rules
Will work with computer system to accomplish daily activities
Perform other related duties as required by Logistics Manager and other management
Must be able to work in a ???team??? environment
Look for and recommend product and process improvements in support of corporate goals, objectives and activities
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
