Sales & Business Development:Develop and implement sales strategies to increase and maximize profits by evaluating the potential of client base, developing new accounts, and increasing the revenue of existing accounts.Maintain communication with established clients to ensure successful business development and to promote client and employee retention through exemplary customer service.Utilize established marketing programs.Analyze reports and operating statements to determine if the marketing strategy is producing the desired result. Take appropriate action to modify strategy or correct deficiencies so as to ensure goals are achieved.Evaluate the potential for expanding the client base and increasing revenue from existing accounts.Maintain personal contact with active clients to ensure they are satisfied with the quality of service they are receiving.Demonstrate the ability to understand and meet established KPIs and metrics.Responsible for the overall growth and profitability of the assigned market.Responsible for outside public relations calls.Other duties as assigned by management to help support the growth of your Spherion market.Operational & Financial Management:Communicate and coordinate the various aspects of branch operations required to ensure compliance (Worker's Compensation, Unemployment, Human Resources, Legal, etc.).Develop and implement an effective recruiting strategy to ensure the availability of qualified flexible/full-time employees in order to meet current and anticipated needs.Financial management of branch operations (budgeting, forecasting, monthly P&L review, credit, and collections, etc.).Implement, monitor, and comply with company programs/initiatives.Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all branch activities.Participate in local professional, business, and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition.Implement steps to minimize workers' compensation and unemployment costs.Ensure the timely collection of all accounts receivable. Take appropriate steps to resolve delinquencies.Responsible for supporting the inside office to ensure proper procedures are being followed.

Four-year college degree or 5 years of equivalent business experience.Minimum of four years of related management experience with a strong emphasis on sales and supervision.Ability to analyze profit/loss statements and other related financial data to make sound business decisions.Strong leadership, managerial, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to perform business development and external sales activities.Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change.Computer literacy.Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary.
