Spherion is seeking qualified candidates to staff our sales team to work in the Rio Grande Valley. The selected candidate will build the credibility of advertisers through strategic marketing selling ad space. Training will be in College Station, TX and base pay is $30K with first year earning potential to be $80-120K including commissions. Selected candidate will need to expect to travel at least 50% of the time. Selected candidate must be local to the Rio Grande Area.

Responsibilities:
Effectively leverage sales materials through cold calling encounters in person, as well as through telemarketing efforts.
Make effective qualifying sales calls and manage the sales cycle to close new business.
Achieve sales goals.
Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
