We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our team specializing in plastics/extrusion. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining extrusion machine operations, operating a forklift to transport materials and products within our facility, loading and unloading trucks, sampling materials, and weighing and recording weights. The ideal candidate will have experience operating both forklifts and extrusion manufacturing machinery, with an excellent commitment to safety and attention to detail. Previous Forklift experience desired. This is a full-time opportunity from Monday - Friday and starting compensation is $14.00/hr and this is a temp-hire opportunity once a reliable attendance record has been demonstrated as well as a positive work ethic. 2nd and 3rd shifts are available at this time (4pm-12am / 12am-8am).

- Assist with machine setup, operation, and monitoring according to established procedures.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
- Safely operate a forklift to move materials and products to and from designated areas within the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, storage racks, and production equipment using the forklift.
- Conduct routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including proper storage of materials and tools.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks.

Qualifications:
- Experience operating extrusion / plastics manufacturing machinery.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
