Spherion is seeking reliable team members to accurately pull lumber orders within the warehouse and prep them for a safe delivery. This position is a great foot in the door with a reputable company, if you are looking for longevity and growth.
This position is responsible for:
-Locating the correct merchandise based on the requested order ticket.
-Pulling the specified number of wood product(s) from the warehouse inventory.
-Using hand-held scanners to process items on the order.
-Strapping the order to prepare for shipment.
Working hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
-Previous work experience in a similar position/industry is a plus.
-High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
The following skills are required to qualify for this position:
Ability to drive to Hearne, TX for scheduled shifts.
-Experience using a hand-held scanner.
-Attention to detail and punctuality.
-Ability to read and write in English
-Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment for extended periods of time.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently, bend, stoop, kneel, walk and stand for long periods of time.
