Summary: The Production Worker carries out various tasks in the production department. Depending on the specific area the employee could be responsible for preparing the raw products for production, packaging product on the assembly line or cleaning and sanitizing production machinery and equipment.

The packer is responsible for packing on shipping boxes, the finished product and prepare the pallet to be moved for shipping.

The packer is also responsible for packing into case configurations directly off the line or in an assembly area at a set fill rate. This role will keep accurate counts of sleeve and case quantities while packing.

Responsibilities:
- Supply the line with the correct packing items to run the line.
- Assembling the boxes and labels.
- Load the product jar in the box, inspect that the lot and date are correct.
- Sort the product according to the internal packing specification.
- Close the boxes or wrapping according to the packaging type.
- Follow all GMP?s.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Follow all applicable safety policies and procedures.
- Follow all GMP?s and general food safety requirements.
- Follow all food defense procedures.
- Check case configurations.
- Participate in process improvement activities.
- Participate in team forums, huddles and escalation issues.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
- Some manufacturing experience preferred with food manufacturing desirable.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced warehouse environment.

- Able to work on feet for extended periods of time.
- Reliable mode of transportation.
