A Gladwin area manufacturer is seeking Packagers to join their team! They work a 3-2-2 schedule (NOT swing shifts!) with 7am-7pm OR 7pm-7am. This means you get every other weekend off as well as days off during the regular work week! Compensation is $15/hr for Days and $16/hr for Nights. Responsibilities:
- As product comes off the machine, employee picks up, puts in box, when box is full, they close the plastic bag, put box on tape machine and stacks on pallet.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station.
Skills:
- Ability to remain on feet for extended periods including occasional lifting up to 30Lbs.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directives.
- Team-work mentality.
- Safety-conscious.
Qualifications:
- Steel toes will be required once the employee if through their first 2 weeks of training.
- Must comply with Spherion's Drug Free Workplace Policy and disclose relevant criminal history at the time of hire.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation in order to demonstrate a reliable attendance record.
