Responsibilities:
Setting up and operating painting equipment and/or parts.
Using pressure pots and air guns to prime paint, apply undercoating, and top coat finish paint.
Mixing paints.
Matching to customer specifications.

Skills:
Expert level candidates are able to do more blending/touch-ups. Ideal candidates will have education and/or experience in pressure pots/air-gun painting

Qualifications:
Two years education or equivalent knowledge in automotive (polyurethane & prep) painting.
Able to use a computer to view work procedures, blueprints, due dates and special instructions.
Proficient in reading a tape measure, comfortable learning and using an overhead lifting device, and able to perform basic math functions.
Able to manually move product and materials up to 50 pounds through physical exertion or using overhead crane, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and stooping.
Able to paint in a variety of positions including but not limited to kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, turning, climbing and stooping; usually on concrete surfaces, ladders and inside dump bodies.
Able to determine and make painting equipment adjustments as needed, read complicated instructions, measuring devices and perform basic computer data entry.
Able to learn operation of multiple machines/jigs within a job area.
Able to be approved to wear a respirator by successfully completing a pulmonary exam and a medical questionnaire to be evaluated by the company appointed PLHCP (Physician or other Licensed Health Care Professional).
