• Opportunity for permanent hire following temp period

• Schedule: ONSITE, Monday- Friday 7:45 am -7:00 pm (8-hour shifts) with rotating Saturdays

Duties:

• Efficient and accurate data entry including entering prescription information into the operating system
• Receiving incoming prescriptions via fax and ensuring timely dispensing
• Maintenance of accurate notes in the computer and cycle fill coding
• Calculating and/or verifying the correct dosage based on the prescription
• Delivering excellent customer service over the phone, resolving issues for customers courteously/professionally, and routing calls appropriately
• Ensuring all prescription processing is completed within your shift
• Receiving, evaluating, processing, and following up as needed with doctor's offices on all refills assigned
• Proficiency in the utilization of all pharmacy systems (document imaging, legacy pharmacy computer operating system)
• Collaboration with other team members to ensure smooth workflow in the data entry department

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• Previous experience in the healthcare industry is required, pharmacy experience is preferred
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work quickly, accurately, and meet deadlines
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude
