A top performing Preventative, Maintenance & Repair Technician has advanced mechanical skills including working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics. They are able to use precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc. A Maintenance Technician can recognize and correct unsafe conditions, guarding, procedures, or personnel actions, and perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance on all F.E. equipment as required, and troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all front end production and support equipment. A Maintenance Technician is able to perform periodic machinery testing/inspection to determine alignment, wear, and operating efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Recognize and correct unsafe conditions, guarding, procedures, or personnel actions.
Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance on all F.E. equipment as required.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all front end production and support equipment
Train Front End Maintainers on equipment operation and maintenance requirements.
Perform periodic machinery testing/inspection to determine alignment, wear, and operating efficiency.
Complete required documentation on machine maintenance and test results.
Assist in other areas as needed to maintain smooth can flow through the plant.
Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and machines and practice proper safety
procedures
Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
Working hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Advanced mechanical skills (including working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics) and ability to use precision measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.).
Able to perform complete overhauls of all Front End equipment, including the replacement, repair and alignment of cupper die set.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of can and end manufacturing process, equipment, and quality specifications.
Ability to demonstrate proven mechanical aptitude on all can and end making equipment in the plant, depending on the primary area of responsibility assigned.
Demonstrated involvement in safety and knowledge of safety regulations which apply to work functions.
Basic knowledge of computer systems, gauges, tools and equipment.
Ability to safely operate production forklift.
PAY: Night $31.31/HR
12 HR Night Shift: 6PM-6AM, 4 on 4 off
Bi-Annual BONUSES up to 10%
