This position is a senior position within the Engineering Department and typically performs work related to new product development but may also support sustaining activities. This position typically has high-level design authority for electrical aspects of products and also serves as a coach/mentor to others in the electrical engineering discipline. Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor engineering staff within the electrical engineering discipline.
- Provide technical guidance in new product development (NPD) projects and sustaining efforts.
- Serve as the electrical design authority for production releases, including drawing releases, verification test plans, and recurring production tests.
- Innovate in new product creation and assist in modifying existing products.
- Lead engineering projects and support manufacturing through troubleshooting, testing, and automation system development.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
- Proficient in circuit analysis, component evaluation, and testing.
- Excellent technical aptitude, strong communication skills, and customer service skills.

Bachelors
Experience:
7-10 years
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 15 years of professional experience with a minimum of 7 years in electrical design/NPD.
- Strong working knowledge of control circuit design, power components, and systems for power applications.
- Occasional travel to out-of-state trade shows and conferences required (approx. 10%).
