Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Engineering to create BOMs
- Construct cost models/purchase price analysis of commodities and services to create a complete understanding of the supplier cost structure.
- Define and facilitate engineering project reviews between design engineering, sourcing and suppliers to resolve open actions to project timelines.
- Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Works closely with purchasing leadership to align to supplier selection to Supplier Strategy.
- Drives the end-to end process from BOM/financial models, PPAP, incoming inspection, storage of test build components to release to manufacturing production.
- Manage and review project activity
- Review and evaluate supplier's component designs, processes and activities for compliance with company manufacturing guidelines, quality processes and standards; provides tangible feedback based on results to
improve component quality and mitigate risk of product failures.
- Manages and optimizes supplier performance, continuous improvement, innovations and reduction of overall total cost of Services
- Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential crises,
and devise contingency plans
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Strong foundational knowledge of Project Management tools and Procurement processes
- Advanced Excel and SAP proficiency
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing methodologies
- Must be able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
- Must have effective interpersonal skills and be comfortable working in in a deadline-oriented environment

Bachelors
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a closely related field
- APICS CPIM a plus
- 5+ years of supply chain experience in the automotive industry
- Experience in a multi-location manufacturing environment
