Bagger are filling bags from hoppers and loading onto pallets. Depending on the product line being made, some lines there could be 10 bags per hour, some lines are 30 bags per hour. Bags range from 33 to 55 pounds each.

Be sure hairnets and/or beard nets and hearing protection are properly worn and in place when entering the building.

Follow all GMP?s, HACCP, and Food Safety programs while in production area.
Correctly fill out required paperwork, such as metal detection sheet, sample bags, and weight check sheet.
When taking samples for lab analysis, make sure they are taken sanitary and safely.
Responsible for correctly numbering and labeling the finished product.
Acquiring knowledge of the operation of bagging, sealing, and conveying system.
Ensure the weight of finished product is truly what the label states.
Check metal detection as instructed.
Make sure each bag of rework is marked of its contents and taken back to mixer.
Make sure working area is kept neat and tidy throughout entire shift.
Be aware of any changes in the process that may hinder the companys ability to sell good powder.
Properly inform the incoming shift bagger of any deviations of items that need to be addressed.
Report damaged equipment to a member of management.
Let supervisor know when parts or supplies are needed.
Follow all other safety policy requirements as outlined.
All other duties as dictated by the manager or shift leads.
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Skills:
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
--Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
--Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull for virtually the entire shift.
--Ability to lift and place on a pallet, bags weighing up to 25 kg at rate of 90 bags per hour.

Passing Drug Screen and pre-employment physical are required.
