The Master Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the company's master production schedule by creating capacity plan, level loading the production facility, creating processes and procedures, and managing/assisting planners in loading forecasts, creating production orders, and tracking completion of orders for delivery. The Master Scheduler is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring products through the complete production cycle.

Responsibilities:
Creates master schedule
Creates and maintains capacity plan to level load the facility
Manages production work orders and forecasts
Ensures SMT has a weekly schedule a week ahead of time
Develop and implement system to track on time kit delivery to floor
Coordinates with Sales, Inventory, Procurement, Production Control and Manufacturing to better understand lead times for master scheduled items, seeks ways to reduce internal lead times as well as lead times to the customer
Conducts Capacity Planning prior to publishing a Master Schedule
Summarizes daily and weekly Master Schedules for released orders and compares these to the Operating Plan Creates a Master Schedule that satisfies customer demand while level loading work to be released to manufacturing and optimizing inventory levels and resource utilization
Creates a Master Schedule that can be used for detailed material/capacity planning
Provides monthly Capacity Planning, maintains and updates capacity data for all critical resources/work cells
Maintains scheduling parameters, such as lead times, lot sizes, and cycle times, etc
Liaisons with Engineering, Buyers/Planners and Operations Managers to ensure appropriate labor, machine and scrap standards are considered in the master schedule

Bachelor???s Degree or higher in industrial engineering, manufacturing supply chain or relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
4 to 5 years of progressive experience in Scheduling/Production Planning or Production Control in a manufacturing environment
Experience in working with manufacturing software such as MS and MRP
Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity and efficiency measurements
