A Production Operator in Print/Mail, must be able to work in a fast-paced, high production environment, and around noise and dust produced by paper and high-speed equipment. Safety items, such as ear plugs, latex gloves, and face masks are not required; however, they are made available to use at the non-employees discretion. We focus on a Teamwork environment, so candidates should have good verbal communication skills. We maintain production documentation, so candidates should have good written communication skills, as well as basic math, computer and problem solving skills. Non-employees will punch a manual time clock to record their time.

Schedule:
Morning - Monday to Friday 9 AM - 5 PM
Swing - Monday to Friday 5 PM - 1 AM
Night - Monday to Friday 1 PM - 9 AM
Responsibilities:
Performs set-up and operation of high-speed production equipment and/or manually processes transactions within specific time frames to meet production deadlines.
Performs operator level equipment maintenance and adjustments.
Ensures quality checks are performed as required throughout their production run.
Records and tracks damaged pieces during production runs and accurately completes all other documentation and/or production logs.
Works safely and maintains a clean work area.
Keeps the work area stocked with material needed to produce jobs.
Meets department production and quality goals.
Other Production Operator duties as assigned.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
A person in this position will be standing and walking throughout their shift, except when on break or lunch, or involved in team meetings. The job requires continual bending, twisting, stooping and the ability to lift or move 35 - 50 lbs. on a daily basis.
