To plan, organize, and control production and personnel, ensuring that product is produced efficiently, on time, and to standard.Responsibilities:?Oversee all aspects of production to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are being met or exceeded.?Participate in assessing staffing needs and being involved in the interview and selection process.?Responsible for employee concerns and personnel management of direct reports.?Ensure production optimization by implementing 5S, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement.?Work in partnership with all members of management to ensure successful day-to-day operations.?Ensure that all product manufacturing is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.?Monitor production activities and adjust personnel placement and schedules for on-time delivery.?Maintain communication with human resources, customer service, and engineering to allow for consistent and successful operations.?Ensure the work policies and standards set forth in the Kato Cable Employee Handbook are followed.?Adhere to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position in accordance with ISO policies, procedures, and work instructions.?Display appropriate work ethics in the workplace and group settings which provides a positive influence on consumer workers. ?Other duties as assigned.Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMSkills:--Experience, Competencies and EducationMust possess an education or experience level that permits the employee to effectively communicate and perform duties, assignments, and responsibilities of the job.
