-Controls the efficient use of human resources, machinery, and other resources to meet and exceed production standards.
-Interfaces with other departments in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
-Establishes or adjusts work procedures/schedules to meet production needs.
-Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product.
-Provides verification of daily production and attendance records through daily reports.
-Conducts production and safety meetings and provides training, guidance, and leadership, as needed, for all shift personnel.
-Effectively manages employee performance and development processes to include training, performance review and
-feedback, corrective action administration, addressing employee concerns and improving employee relations.
-Directs employees in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products which fail to meet standards.
-Plans flow of materials through the department and develop the physical layout of machines according to work orders.
-Ensures that all shift personnel complies with company policies and safety procedures and usage of required safety equipment.
-Reviews and analyzes production systems and reports to assure that production and quality guidelines are met.
-Investigates and resolves issues related to quality and efficiency.
-Monitors production equipment and reports failures to maintenance personnel.
-Works with other departments to establish production standards for new products. Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.
-Maintains awareness of the relevance and importance of activities and how each contributes to achieving qualityobjectives.
-Maintains prompt and regular attendance as scheduled.
-Works safely and without injury.
-Other duties may be assigned.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
Ability to read, write, verbalize and comprehend instructions and correspondence in the English language.
-Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of the organization.
-Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
-Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
-Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, balancing, stooping, reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, acuity-far, acuity-near, depth perception and field of vision.
-May require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The employee is required to use hands to handle, or move objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:
-Minimum three years of related supervisory experience in high volume paint, assembly, finishing, or similar production environment.
