This role will manage and lead all activities on the production floor of the tufting and calendaring department. This individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, training and monitoring safety and quality of operations in order to maintain a safe environment. This department uses world class specialized equipment for tufting and calendaring carpet.
Must be able to work independently as necessary. In this role the supervisor will lead all
aspects of the Tufting department at M+A Matting plant 1. As the production supervisor you will lead the
team to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost goals. As opportunities arise, you will develop action
plans and implement them. One of the main responsibilities is leading the team. The production supervisor will
communicate, coach, and resolve conflicts.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Bachelor's degree preferred
Two years of supervisory experience in a tufting manufacturing environment preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
Microsoft Office proficiency
