4-7 years
- Supervises up to 100 employees in a production facility. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of areas such as shipping/receiving, supervisors, line leaders, packagers, assemblers and other job classifications.- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. - Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects at a time.
- 5+ years' experience as a supervisor in a production or warehouse facility. - Associate's degree in business or a related field.- History of supervising, training and evaluating a minimum of 20 workers.- Experience with PLC and CNC programming of equipment.- Facilities management a plus.- Experience with implementing Lean Manufacturing practices.
