Our global client is a Life Science company with a more than 150-year history and core competencies in the areas of healthcare and agriculture.Production Technicians are involved in all facets of seed production within a location.Responsibilities:Perform complex periodic preventive maintenance inspections, procedures, and tasks. Process work requests and other data through the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Repair equipment and solve facility problems. Must have the ability to operate power sweeper, forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift, perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on power sweeper, forklift, scissor lift, air compressors and rotating equipment, ability to repair equipment with minimum instructions, arc welding, soldering, brazing, etc when requested. Ability to use various electrical and mechanical measurements devices including micrometers, depth gauges, feeler gauges, dial gauges, voltmeters, calipers etc.Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMSkills:Problem SolvingAttention to DetailGood communication skillsEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:a Minimum of two years related experience and training, preferably in industrial maintenance.Microsoft Word and Excel.
