A Midland manufacturer is seeking Production Inspectors to join their team! This is a full-time, temp-hire opportunity after a reliable attendance record has been demonstrated as well as a positive work ethic. Production Inspectors will be responsible for ensuring high-quality production of parts as well as machine operation. Various shifts are available including: 1st shift: 6am-2pm ($14/hr), 2nd shift: 2pm-10pm ($14.70/hr), and 3rd shift: 10pm-6am ($15.12/hr). Monday-Friday is the base schedule, but during peak season, Production Inspectors will need to also be available for overtime hours to add onto their regular shifts, and if there are not enough volunteers during the week, then weekends may be mandated. This is a clean, climate-controlled environment and involves repetitive movements.
Interested Production Inspector candidates will need to be on time for a scheduled facility tour and complete pre-employment criteria in a timely manner in order to move forward with this role.

- Production Inspectors will be responsible for:
- Thorough inspection of parts as they are produced to identify any debris, defects, or malformed parts prior to the next stage in the process
- Placement of part on a press, matching to mold, smooth with hands, and use both hands to push two buttons to operate the machines
- Removal of finished part and place at the next point of operation
- Timely and accurate production or various parts and/or assemblies as assigned to individual efficiency standards, quality inspections, and respective ISO and safety requirements
Skills:
- Ability to remain on feet as needed for extended periods as well as engaging in repetitive hand movements and lift up to 40Lbs.
- Ability to work with a team.
- Ability to follow verbal and written directives accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to discern visual and textured defects.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation in order to demonstrate a reliable attendance record.
- Must comply with Spherion's Drug Free Workplace Policy and disclose relevant criminal history at the time of hire.
- Mut possess a High School Diploma or GED or be close to completion of the program.
