The Program Assistant will function in an administrative role as well as assist with development and presentation of programs to support individuals impacted by community violence and adversity.
Responsibilities:
Programming
- Assist in design, preparation and editing of reports, presentations, brochures, etc.

- Update and post on various social media platforms including websites
- Assist with orientation and onboarding of volunteers, interns, employees
- Plan and assist with events
Administrative
- Preparation and distribution of materials
- Coordinate event details including communications, materials, and more
- Assist with grant and program reports
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Skills:
Proven problem solving skills
Previous clerical experience
Demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of office machines, including copier, fax machine, and computer using standard work processing, spreadsheet and data inquiry software
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 - year Program Development and Administrative Experience
Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft applications in a windows environment
Weekend and evening availability
Tech savvy
Professional demeanor and phone etiquette
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks
Minimum of related experience in program development and administrative functions
