This is a multi-facet role that requires working closely within the organization and with other community stakeholders to ensure a high-level of excellence for representing the organization in a diverse role of a Grant Writer, Supportive Services, Program Support for Homeless Information System Management (HMIS), CHDO (Community Housing Development Organization), The HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME Program),Continuum of Care (CoC), Point-in-Time Count (PIT), and other various program participation as directed by the Executive Director.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent Two (2) years' work experience with a non-profit with grant management responsibilities, along with supportive services and program support. Knowledge and experience working with the underserved population is a plus

Extensive knowledge and understanding of non-profit operations.
Successful grant writing experience.
Ability to work independently and as a team-player.
Ability to be self-directed.
Experience working with the underserved population, preferably people who are homeless or at risk for homelessness.
Knowledge of Fair Housing and HUD Guidelines, Whole Person Care and Housing First Models, and Familiar with HMIS (Homeless Management Information System)
Modern office methods, procedures, filing standards, copy and fax machine
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and database applications.
Business English, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Demonstrates a cooperative, positive, and enthusiastic attitude toward fellow employees, clients and visitors.
Demonstrates proper etiquette, measures effectiveness in listening to others, expressing ideas, both orally and in writing and providing relevant and timely information to management, co-workers, clients, staff and county professionals.
Relates to clients and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.
