Pay $27-32/hour DOE

Responsibilities:
Accounting Responsibilities
-Prepare weekly revenue recognition reporting for all Engineered locations and revenue recognition processes
-Prepare, understand, and review the financial statements for the Engineered locations and ensure compliance with GAAP
-Assist with general ledger, journal entries, invoices etc. and reconcile accounts for the monthly and annual financial statements
-Review project related invoices for accuracy including analyzing for proper sales tax and discounts
-Monitor and communicate with the AR Specialist and project manager on outstanding A/R
-Analyze A/R retainage to ensure the issuance of final closeout invoices
-Facilitate the renewal of any state contractor?s licenses as well as the filing in any new states
-Assist in the monitoring of prevailing wage process i.e., notification to the Payroll Accountant when projects are opened and closed
-Assist the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis with project data needed for internal and external reporting
-Provide accurate and timely data for annual audits and tax filings requests
-Support the integration of projects and engineered financial data in conjunction with future acquisitions
-Accurately prepare gross margin reporting
-Prepare annual labor and overhead rate calculations for the company

Project Responsibilities
-Analyze monthly project accounting metrics to explain the status of project financial position, including profitability and margin
-Participate in the monthly CTC (Cost to Complete) process by gathering relevant cost information and assisting with other related tasks for projects
-Perform the project closeout reconciliation process
-Review and confirm schedule of values for appropriate billing schedule and deliverables
-Review and collect appropriate lien waivers and understand the process for filing liens to aid in collection efforts
-Review contracts for identifying contractual terms for billing purposes
-Understand insurance requirements and provide assistance to the project team in monitoring and subcontractor insurance compliance
-Provide additional analytical support regarding project status and performance as needed
-Manage ERP software processes for projects
