        Electrical Team Manager is responsible for a key contribution when it comes to completing projects within the power portion of our assembly process. Our expectation for the role is that this leader plays an integral part in achieving our on-time delivery of customer products that include electrical components. The Electrical Team Manager must successfully manage the Electrical production team, with the assistance of the Electrical Team Lead(s).Responsibilities:Supervisory: -Perform business management duties, such as maintaining records or files, preparing reports, or ordering supplies or equipment. -Develops and manages specific goals and plans for the Team to prioritize, organize, and accomplish each project. -Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority, the quantity of equipment, and skill of personnel. -Monitor the Electrical Team's work levels and review work performance individually and as a whole. -Must effectively manage and train all direct reports, from Team Lead to Technicians, in daily OJT (on-time training), for new and upcoming techniques and procedures, as well as safety protocols. -Utilize knowledge of AC and DC industry standards and apply within mobile industry where applicable. -Will help cast a vision to drive performance and improvement by using industry best practices. -Inspect all project electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. -Promote quality at all levels where our deliverables include timeliness, dependability, and reliability.Electrical: -Test electrical systems or continuity of AC and DC circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. -Diagnose malfunctioning AC and 12V systems, apparatus, or components, using, visual inspection and test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. -Inspect and test AC and 12V electrical systems and equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions, using visual inspections, testing devices, and computer software.Working hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:-Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.-Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.-Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.         We are hiring 2nd shift Quality Technicians for a leading manufacturer of machined parts that has been in business for over 80-years. These are full-time, Direct Hire opportunities with full-benefits and progressive monetary increases. These positions are a result of company growth and expansion throughout Northern Illinois and across the country! The training is excellent, the facility environment is safe, professional, extremely clean, inviting, well managed and extremely team orientated.* $500 Signing Bonus! - dispersed in incremental payments. * Pay ranges - $17 to $24/hr to start based on experience and machine center materials knowledge* 5:30pm to 4:00am - (10% differential for 2nd shift)* Full Benefit platform* Referral Bonuses* Candidates will be interviewed at the company to identify and determine specific knowledge and best matches to render hiring decisions.* Eligible candidates will provide their QT skill set/s by providing what type of materials they worked with, inspection plan/s they created, MRP system proficiencies, companies they worked for highlighting these skills and total QT experience through an email prompter to complete and simply reply back as part of the process.Responsibilities:The Quality Technicians will work closely with multiple machine centers throughout the facility, engineering, operations and supply chain to develop and document lab, floor, dock, receiving, in-process and final inspections from suppliers and customers. * Perform receiving tasks related to incoming materials, data entry and file maintenance into the MRP system * Inspect materials received from suppliers and customers per inspection plans * Initiate Defective Material Reports (DMR) as required* Assist with the development and implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS) * Determine and ensure proper tooling for each machine before start upWorking hours: 5:30 PM - 4:00 AMSkills:* Intermediate proficiencies leveraging the Microsoft Office Suite* Ability to read and interpret prints, schematics, and procedures for the inspection of outgoing materials from the network systems.Education:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:* 1-4 years of Quality Technician experience in a Manufacturing environment* Good oral and communication skills* Computer experience* Must be able to read and communicate in English * Complete a required background check* Complete a required drug testSpherion has helped thousands of people just like you find work happiness!
