QHSE Manager
Purpose:
The QHSE Manager supports effective implementation and maintenance of quality programs and procedures to verify that products and services meet industry codes and standards and other specified requirements. Responsible for assuring quality related processes and compliance with high HACCP standards and other applicable standards, regulations, and internal procedures. Provide quality oversight (auditing) of facility operations on the production/warehouse floor. The QHSE manager will be a role model of company values as set out in the mission and vision of the company.

Accountable for site?s occupational health and safety management system as Safety Coordinator/PASS.
On site Preventive controls Qualified Individual (PCQI).
Assure compliance with (FDA, OSHAS) regulatory agency and customer standards.
Provide compliance guidance and technical QA/QC procedures and QC Inspection reporting as needed by applicable standards.
Create/Write or edit procedures and inspection report forms for QA, QC Inspection and compliance.
Provide product or process problem/error /failure analysis and documented support for corrective action solutions and improvements to correct nonconformance situations and customer complaints.
Provide training support for Compliance and Quality Assurance /Coordinate locations? compliance training process for employees.
Monitor product and process quality / environmental aspects and provide analytical quarterly reviews and working sessions for preventative actions.
Prepare for and facilitate site audit (HACCP, Kosher, Customer, Internal, and Regulatory Agencies) and follow-up with corrective action, written responses, and appropriate documentation.
Continuously develop and optimize the QHSE function.
Develop and maintain a business risk overview and risk conscious organization which is capable of effectively managing risks.
Authorized to represent the operations internally and externally (authorities, customers, interest groups, suppliers) on QHSE matters and enter into obligation within agreed budgets and documented proxies.
Be able to analytically think, be decisive, hands on and people oriented plus resilient.
Experience in a similar role in food manufacturing
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Four-year college degree in a technical or engineering discipline or equivalent experience
Education:
Bachelors
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Knowledge of HACCP, Food safety in a process manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of integrated management systems and ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 certification requirements.
Experience in Health and Safety in accordance with a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to develop and influence an organization to achieve safe practices and compliance.
Ability to participate in day-to-day business, frequent interaction with other departments.
Experience with analyzing trends, assessing processes, and providing recommendations with follow-up actions.
