Incoming inspection - verify material and parts from vendors against purchase orders, packing lists and drawings. Perform incoming visual and mechanical inspection utilizing CMM, optical comparator, microscopes, micrometers, vernier calipers and other various inspection hand tools. Responsibilities:
-Will do first article and last piece inspection
-Perform visual and mechanical inspection using appropriate equipment and tools to ensure parts conform to all drawing specifications and requirements.
-Document all required information per established quality standards.
-Work with production staff and management on quality related issues
-Establish quality cards and job routers
-Maintain calibration logs for all quality equipment and hand tools
-Maintain logs for certified material rack
-Work with quality management and production to assure manufactured and purchased components meet all specifications and customer requirements
Skills:
-Proficient computer skills
-Detail oriented with good organizational skills
-Strong communication skills
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or Equivalent
-QA experience working in a machine shop environment (preferred)
-Strong GD&T understanding and knowledge
-Ability to program and utilize a CMM for daily inspection tasks.
-AS9100 or ISO9001 experience (preferred)
