Spherion is seeking out a QA Technician to work the weekend shift, with our thriving manufacturing client; a food manufacturer in central Mankato. This position is long-term -- temp-to-hire. To perform necessary functions in order ensure: product specifications are met; customer/consumer quality expectations are achieved; our organization complies with all USDA regulations; all quality issues are identified, investigated and addressed.Food Safety And Quality Technician - 3rd Shift (Fri-Sun 4am-6:30p)Responsibilities:Obtain random samples from outgoing finished product and check with laboratory instruments to ensure that samples meet specific quality standards.Prepare necessary forms and trend charts in support of kitchen or packaging inspections function.Perform all necessary procedures to ensure compliance under HACCP regulations.
