Spherion Staffing has partnered with a growing dietary supplements manufacturing facility in College Station, TX to recruit for this role. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the quality of raw materials and finished goods manufactured at this facility.
Responsibilities:
Ensure facilities and products meet local and federal food safety regulations.

Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
Coach in areas such as quality control techniques, GMPs, and product quality.
Assist with quality team audits by partnering with plant operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering to develop, write, review, and train over SOPs, work instructions, and forms.
Collect, record, and evaluate data for quality improvements, alerting the Director of QA/QC of any deviations.
Maintain documentation by issuing master manufacturing records, approving batch records and work instructions, ensuring records are appropriately completed and maintained, approving shipping documentation, and filing all other records as needed.
Review and approve lab analysis reports for the approval of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
All other duties that may be assigned.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Skills:
Preferred two years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work with probabilities, statistical inference, fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Education:
High School

High School Diploma or equivalent.
