Spherion is looking for a Quality Assurance Technicians to join a local manufacturing company in Wichita Falls to assist them with their products. This position is going to train on days, then transition to the 7pm- 7am night schedule.

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for all aspects of quality to maintain quality standards set by the company. This person is responsible for all Quality Assurance testing of finished product in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
Working hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Skills:
-Preform a variety of physical testing of products including but not limited to; rubber ring testing, quick burst, impact, brabender, flattening, long term testing and all other Quality Assurance testing.
-Completes paperwork and reports as needed.
-Uses a variety of tools and instruments to assess and inspect product.
-Checks the quality of finished goods, including those loaded for delivery, and returned goods for acceptance to stock.
-Reviews stocked pipe periodically and identifies damaged product to be removed from inventory.
-Must maintain area to be clean and free from safety hazards.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
3 years of experience/training/education in production and/or quality control
Must be able to perform manual labor for duration of 12 hr shift and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must submit to a background check and drug screen.
