We are looking for a Quality Technician for the 1st shift who will report to the Quality Manager, and who'll be tasked with the reduction and/ or elimination of rejects, rework, and scrap during production. As part of your role, you'll ensure that production and other support departments are focused on meeting the current Quality KPI levels as well as problem solving to develop new ways to improve our current performance.

NO WEEKENDS! Monday - Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM (OT every other Friday)
Responsibilities:
Lead CAPA activities daily with the Supervisors and Leads to reduce rework, rejects, and warranty concerns in a team environment, as the team lead, as well as CAPA documentation and records management.
Perform new product, problematic product or supplier incoming inspections including ERP entry of results.
Perform testing in production of the processes
Review internal drawings and specifications for answering questions in production
Train new QA Inspectors and act as a resource for QA Inspectors when they need answers.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Be able to lead a group in a team environment
Strong communication skills written and verbal.
Interest and creativity to train, show how, explain tasks or modifications to the task.
Education:
No Degree Required
Experience:
0-1 years
Qualifications:
4 years??? of relevant experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with basic measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges.
Proficient use of computers. Preferably Google or Microsoft.
Previous quality management experience like ISO 9001.
