2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30PM-12:00AM
Responsibilities:
Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in the implementation of the overall Quality System.
Perform in-process inspection of product using drawings, specifications, and other pertinent information, and document/communicate the results of those inspections.
Make decisions on the suitability of product and raw materials based on requirements.
Review specific production records and packing configurations to ensure accuracy.
Create and/or file accurate, legible quality records.
Support Continuous Improvement activities.
Participate in Internal Auditing activities.
Assist in training personnel in inspection methods and quality requirements.
Perform inspection and measurement of sample parts for new product validation.
Help to maintain the calibration system for measurement devices.
Once proficient, assist in training other personnel in inspection methods and quality requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Responsible for working safely and maintaining a safe work environment: attends required training, identifies and reports hazards; wears required PPE for position; and is accountable for self as well as co-worker safety.
Working hours: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Skills:
1-2 yrs. of experience in the thermoforming industry is a plus.
ASQ (American Society for Quality) quality technician certification is desired.
Minimum of 1-2 yrs. experience as a quality technician is preferred.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalency is required.
