-Oversee the day-to-day quality activities to maintain and communicate facility and corporate metrics and objectives-Follow all necessary Business System Manual (BSM) and/or QMS procedures and processes-Complete incoming, in-process, and final inspections and verify compliance to product quality standards-Document and segregate non-conforming material and workmanship-Record Non-Conformances, Corrective Actions, and Preventive Actions into the SharePoint Quality Database-Apply problem solving techniques and/or root cause analysis to Non-Conformances, Corrective Actions, and Preventive Actions in the SharePoint Quality Database-Review Non-Conformances, Corrective Actions, and Preventive Actions from the SharePoint Quality Database with Facility Management to identify and implement continuous improvement-Participate in all internal, third party and customer audits and inspections and implement Corrective Action where necessary-Verify Material Test Reports (MTRs) and similar documents for required information upon receipt of materials-Create service requests for calibration and non-destructive testing (NDT) suppliers that clearly state requirements to maintain acceptable quality-Remain current with industry standards, procedures, and processes-Calibrate and verify the necessary QC inspection equipment-Approve validation results for designs (as necessary) per the required specification-Perform final approval of new designs (as necessary) by verifying first article testing achieved the required design functionality and all planned arrangements were met-Organize and record quality related training activities and effectiveness evaluations for all personnel-Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime or weekends when needed

-High School Diploma or GED required-Experience in a manufacturing environment-Minimum of 3 years QC Inspector experience -5 years welding experience, or equivalent training in fabrication of steel products preferred-3 years QC Inspector experience (or equivalent) preferred-AWS Certified Weld Inspector (within 1-2 years of employment) preferred-Must have general computer experience along with experience using spreadsheet and word processing programs-Blueprint/drawing reading-Leadership to motivate co-workers to quality workmanship-Strong ability to interact in cross-function ability-Ability to influence others to perform their jobs effectively and to be responsible for making decisions
