Responsible for the efficient operation of the work queue, allocating orders, writing SCNs, researching shorts, generating systemic picks, report research, providing information to 589 and/or reach operators, and maintaining excel spreadsheets. Responsibilities:
Efficiently uses Red Prairie WMS, powered equipment (589 transloader, reach, walkie rider, slip, and clamp), and RF equipment.
Maintains knowledge base regarding the operational aspects of the DC flow and home department.
Interacts with team leader and supervisor on a regular basis; takes direction (RF and verbally) to conduct all aspects of the DC operation while working with little to no direct supervision.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Working hours: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Proficient knowledge of Red Prairie WMS (or similar WMS), RF Equipment, warehouse product flow, and above average communication skills (phone, radio, and email) required
Above average clerical skill required including proficient use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Prior warehouse experience preferred
Basic Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred (RedPrairie, etc.)
Prior experience operating Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, i.e. scanners, etc.
Must be able to work from heights up to 80 feet
Good verbal and written communication required
Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task on a regular basis.
Must be able to lift, stack, and/or sort boxes up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Must be able to maintain a high degree of focus to promote a safe work environment and prevent injury to others
Must be able to work in a team-based environment
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English language effectively
Hearing is required in order to operate a RF keyboard and/or scanner; and to complete required data entry
Vision is required in order to read instructions, interpret data, and formulate metrics
