Comply with plant Health, Safety and Environmental rules and policies
Promote safety of self and coworkers
Operate processes and processing equipment in accordance with SOP???s.
Handle and charge hazardous and non -hazardous raw materials and finished goods from containers and storage tanks to process vessels in a safe manner
Follow batch sheet instructions closely for charge quantities, temperature, pressure, and accurately record data on batch sheet
Perform in-process analytical testing as required
Use Distributed Control System(DCS) system for batch control
Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate operational problems and deviations
Document production and consumption in SAP system accurately for inventory control
Support Shift Supervisor in accomplishing Site goals and objectives
Complete shift report to ensure adequate communication and relief
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Skills:
SAP and DCS experience preferred
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical manufacturing environment with responsibility for the daily output of a process or production unit. Chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
Must be able to demonstrate safe operation of forklift and golf cart
Competencies and Skills Required
Shift work and flexible work hours required, including overtime for training, meetings and plant coverage
Good math and reading comprehension skills
Basic computer literacy
