job summary:
The Fuels Engineering team supports the Wholesale and Retail Fuels teams for Pricing, Ordering, Fleet, Accounting, and Supply. The Engineering team supports both custom applications and third party SAAS applications including a third party pricing tool, Salesforce, and a Customer Portal for our Wholesale team. For our custom applications we are using Spring Boot Java for API and Microservices development to provide services for our Fuel Pricing and Wholesale Teams, so they can push fuel prices from our Store Support Center to the Price Sign at the store in near real time and send daily price notifications to customers. Our Salesforce Org leverages Sales Cloud and we are adding enhancements based on business need.

- Performing Code Migrations between Sandbox & Production Orgs with Change sets
- Creating and implementing profiles, roles, record types, page layouts, custom fields, validation rules, process builder, assignment rules and escalation rules, email templates, approval processes, reports and dashboards, and configuring security settings
- Creating flows using flow builder
- Knowledge in Salesforce DX
- Creating on Apex Classes, Triggers, SOQL, SOSL & Apex Web Services
- Integrating SOAP/REST API's & SAML authentication
- Develop Salesforce Lightning Components, Apps, Toasting Events, Bubbling, Event Handlers & Wrapper Classes
- Knowledge in Lightning Web Components, Javascript & CSS
- Develop, document and enforce application standards and procedures
- Documenting processes in LucidChart
- Activly participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standup, retrospectives, team demoes and document business release notes
qualifications:
- Strong ability to understand end-user needs and transform those needs into effective and efficient solutions
- Must have the ability to take the initiative and ownership towards solution development. Primarily able to operate independently, with minimal supervision/direction, to take business ask, clarify details necessary with PO and navigate the solutioning to completion (Designà DevelopàDeploy).
- Ability to express the strengths of the Salesforce platform, while understanding where other portfolio products can most effectively integrate to achieve the most secure and productive overall solution
- 5+ years' experience in the Salesforce Platform & Sales Cloud
- 2+ years in a lead role:
- SFDC Technical: Process builder, Workflows, Sharing rules, Permission Sets, Apex Classes, VF pages, Rest API, SOAP API and Lightning, RDBMS and JavaScript
- Lightning/Lightning Component Framework
- Managed Package: such as OwnBackup, CPQ- CLM
skills:
- Experience spearheading new implementations of Salesforce into an enterprise environment
- Strong technical foundation including experience with advanced structured programming - APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java, SOA
- Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts and structures, knowledge of SQL, structured system analysis and design patterns
- Experience with external integrations including SOAP/REST API's & SAML authentication
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies
- Good knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communications skills
- Nice to have Retail or Fuels experience
- Vendor selection experience
- Back and Restore experience
- Salesforce Shield experience
