This position requires knowledge of engineering standards, tools, procedures, and the inspection and testing process. Interaction with managers, customers, engineers, technicians and operators is required. The primary focus of this position is to assist in the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the quality management system and to expedite a quality product on time.

Exceptional analytical, communication and organizational skills.Familiar with First Article Inspection Reports and ability to complete AS9102 Form.Engineering background with above average knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles including testing (Slip Ring/Twist Capsules are preferred but not required).Above average to expert knowledge of inspection and testing procedures.Strong Mechanical aptitude.Knowledge of precision measuring equipment.Familiar with reading/interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and metrology.Must possess troubleshooting/root cause analysis skills.Planning and scheduling skills are necessary.

Minimum 3 years experience in electrical/mechanical manufacturingMinimum 3 years experience in quality systems.Must understand AS9100 system requirements and ISO requirements for the company.Must be able to grasp and retain the training for basic electrical testing and inspecting of partsAbility to read and understand part drawing and the application wiring schematic.Ability to use a microscope.Ability to handle parts and equipment with care.Ability to understand safety hazards and take appropriate precautions.Good color acuity required.Work independently and proactively.Understanding of ITAR and EAR regulations (preferred but not required).
