Spherion is seeking a Service Writer / Parts Person for a marina! This is a full-time, career opportunity with compensation between $35k-55k, depending on experience. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm with no weekends, no evenings, there are benefits and vacation time available. The Service Advisor/Parts Person will be responsible for managing customer inquiries related to parts and services, ensuring prompt and accurate assistance. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and via email, providing expert advice on marine parts and services.
- Assess customer needs, provide accurate cost estimates, and schedule service appointments.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure a seamless transition from customer inquiry to service completion.
- Maintain and manage inventory of marine parts, ordering new stock as needed.
- Identify and recommend parts and accessories for a variety of marine vehicles.
- Process sales transactions and manage cash, credit, and electronic payments efficiently.
- Update customer records in the system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Foster a positive customer experience by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay informed about industry trends and new products to provide knowledgeable service.
Skills:
- Knowledge of marine parts and systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Automotive parts or dealership experience is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a service advisor or parts role within a marina or automotive environment is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer applications.
