An industry leading beverage manufacturing company is looking for Forklift Operators to join their growing team!The Forklift Operator is responsible for activities associated with raw ingredients, including safely and responsibly operating a forklift to load, unload, and move materials. Responsible of keeping accurate control of inventory moved in and out of production.Nights Shifts Available (must be able to work rotating weekends)Responsibilities:- Maintains shipping and staging areas in a clean and organized fashion at all times. Report any unsafe conditions to supervisor immediately.- Pulls and prepares product to be shipped using FIFO methodology when necessary.- Pulls all raw materials for blending using FIFO.- Records product movements and/or interplant transfers and acknowledges receipts and/or shipments.- Stack boxes of finished products onto pallets when required.- Conduct appropriate preventive maintenance activities on forklifts and operate in a responsible manner that is in line with company?s SOPs.- Maintain accurate inventory of raw ingredients and materials by electronically moving inventory in WMS.- Once finishing blending and ingredients utilization, will organize them into coolers or freezers.- Support other plant operations when needed.- Follows all company policies and procedures regarding GMPs, SOPs and Quality standards.- Other duties as assigned or required.Working hours: Various Shifts AvailableSkills:- Attention to detail- Ability to bend, squat, lift, twist, stand without accommodationEducation:High SchoolExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:- High School Diploma/GED required- 6 months to 1 year of recent experience operating a sit down forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment- Able to adapt to schedule changes, long and irregular hours- Ability to work in hot environment- Ability to adhere to dress code requirements- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus 3 ways to apply!1.
