The Service Technician role performs preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and makes repairs on generator and hydraulic equipment in the safest most effective way possible to avoid downtime.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, repair, assemble, and service equipment to ensure rental readiness
Deploy, commission, and decommission equipment in the shop

Maintain a clean and safe work area treating property, tools, machines, and equipment with care.
Utilizing software and resources effectively and thoroughly diagnose, service, and repair any mechanical, hydraulic, or electronic issues present while performing duties and services on heavy equipment.
Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment rentals within the technician???s responsibility.
Responsible for the accurate and prompt recording of machine information and repairs in electronic ticketing system including parts, labor, mileage and services performed.
Responsible for active communication of equipment, machinery, or other identified issues to supervisor and other stakeholders as appropriate.
Be a leader in safety in adherence with industry standards and core values.
Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Implement measures to minimize risks and accidents in both field and shop operations.
Other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years in heavy equipment or related mechanical experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Strong problem solving skills and proficiency using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong communication and customer service skills
