Responsibilities:
Develop software for automatic aligning and conformance testing of LMR hardware.

Develop or assist in the development of board and system level fixtures for production environment interfacing equipment to the UUT.

Develop procedures for production alignment of sub-assemblies and final testing of finished product.

Develop data management tools supporting performance analysis and tracking.

Work with Design Engineers of new designs to help develop DFM and DMT.

Other Technical tasks, as needed.

All duties assigned by Supervisor.

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Know the fundamental operations of LMR products in the VHF, UHF, and 800 MHz frequency ranges.- Be able to use analog and digital communication tests sets, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies to troubleshoot and measure product performance.- Be able to design automated alignment and test software using the mentioned below design platforms.- Understand typical and required tests methods and acceptance levels according to instructions and minimum performance standards.- Be able to systematically evaluate test results. This shall include the ability to contribute to the test methods, making measurements, recording of data, and the analysis of the data collected.- Be able to use statistical analysis techniques to analyze data.- Using schematics, parts placements, and service manuals, be able to troubleshoot a LMR sub-system to a component level.- Be able to understand industry and product standards and product related technical documents.- Be able to generate or edit test procedures related to the automated and manual conformance testing of the products being manufactured.- Strong Excel, Access, MS Word, Power Point, skills required- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills- Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines- Able to work independently and as part of a team- Confidentiality and Time Management- Desired experience with LMR analog and P25 LMR products- Desired experience with RF Engineering testing - Experience with LabView and other programming languages
