The Staff Accountant assists with managing and recording financial transactions in the general ledger, assisting with account reconciliations, and assisting with accounts payable functions for a multi-entity enterprise in the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile and enter invoices into accounting software

Prepare accounting-related entries to numerous registers and journals
Analyze and manage and reconcile all expense vouchers
Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice entry for payment
Conduct monthly reconciliation of various general ledger accounts to ensure
their accuracy
Prepare 1099 tax forms as necessary
Assist with the sales and use tax analysis and filings
Management of employee purchase cards
Maintenance of fixed asset and depreciation schedules
Handle special projects as requested by management
Complete other duties as assigned
Possess a thorough knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systems
Comply to all Companies policy and procedures and embrace company Guiding Principles.

Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with other team members through caring, respecting their time, work and talents.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or business administration or equivalent experience
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of financial software programs
Able to work up to 40 hours per week
Able to continually sit, be mobile, keyboard, talk/hear in person/on phone, and vision for close work, and frequent repetitive hand movements
Able to occasionally do stationary standing, walking, crouching, stooping, and twisting
Able to work in an office setting for up to 8 hours per day

High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, reconciliation, and accounts payable principles
Must be detail-oriented with solid analytical skills
Exhibits computer skills and knowledge of relevant technology
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of financial software programs
Has a working knowledge of accounting practices and financial accounting standards
High School Diploma or equivalent
Able to multitask
Able to be focused and disciplined
Must possess excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Must be self-motivated and able to work well on an independent basis
Display proven customer service skills

PAY RANGE: $50,000-$65,000/YR
HOURS: 8am-5pm
