Support manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and design engineering teams related to electrical performance, testing, compliance, or part related issues.Be able to troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues of analog and P25 digital communications Land Mobile Radio (LMR) products including portable, mobile, and base station equipment.

Knowledge & Skills:Know the fundamental operations of LMR products in the VHF, UHF, and 800 MHz ranges.Use problem solving techniques to perform fault analysis resulting in corrective action recommendations.Be able to systematically evaluate alternative components (mostly electrical, some mechanical). This shall include the ability to contribute to the test methods, making measurements, recording of data, the analysis of the data collected and presenting to senior management.Be able to test products using the necessary test equipment, to perform TIA-603, TIA ISB102, and Minimum Performance documents for LMR test methods.Be able to manage small to medium sized engineering projects related to analog and P25 digital communications systems including portable, mobile, and base station equipment.Be able to assist in the electrical design of special and accessory products.Be able to generate and edit technical documents related to operation of the products and product design.Be able to read understand schematics, parts placements drawings, and bills-of-materials.
Qualifications:Education:BSEE or equivalent degree 5 years work experience in related communication electronics fieldRequires understanding of engineering concepts and standard practices.Computer Skills: Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.Use of Matlab, Minitab or similar programming and statistical software programs is a plus.
